Very nice place for inexpensive an delicious Malaysian food. The noodles (non rice) were delicious and the chicken wings even more delicious. There is an egg based flour used and it's really delicious. And where can you eat in Perth for 2 for $32?

Great service, great food choice, chicken/beef/pork/fish/seafood
We got the fish and salt/pepper pork rib. Super tender and good flavour
Spicy fish but we loved it
Quick food with reasonable price

I must say I really like the food here. Fish wing milky soup is the best. Staff is very nice and kind. Price is also ok.

I have been here before some years back. I suspect the ownership or chef has changed. The service was friendly enough - we didn't have a booking but they fitted us in at a large reserved table on the proviso we could be out before the hour was up. When a smaller table was later vacated, they were happy for us to move so we could linger, snd linger we did as old friends fo over a hot soupy dish.
I had the curry lsksa but on first impression, I felt it wasn't a Malaysian who cooked it. See my pic. It's one of those with added curry powder, I suspect, as the curry was not well blended into the soup. It was low in chicken pieces, maybe 3 small pieces, and mainly soup and noodles with sliced fish caked, one taufu pok, egg. I didn't drink the soup.
My friend's fish wings with milky soup had small wings compared to other places. It's not one I drooled over nor one I'll crave to order should I return.
The positive is that we could linger past 9 and not many places open till late these days with customers still happily chatting away. The toilet is at the back so is a walk out in the cold which is not as conducive to chinwagging any later than the bladder permits anyway.
Woke up thirsty with near low-grade headache which usually means the good had MSG.

Wow! At Penang Hawker in Shelley. Forgot how good here was.
1/ CKT - one of the very best in Perth but had to be very specific with my ask 1/ darker color 2/ medium spicy 3/ a lot of wok hei I want it crispy! Had pork crackling, two prawns, lap cheong- awesome dish
2/ Assam Fish claypot - just wow had 7 ! Fish wings in it. Was loaded I mean it was HUGE we had some and had two FULL large round containers after… one container once I deboned the wings was FULL of fish.
3/ XO Fish wing soup milky - MUST ask for the thin mee hoon noodle for me otherwise you get like the Assam laksa type white noodle. They kindly changed for free after. And I asked for extra extra XO wine/whiskey it was the best only place in Perth with the added booze that I’m aware of!
4/ Deep fried pork belly - wow including deep fried garlic - this was a very specific treat! My mums favorite with the XO milky soup
Overall everything was a 10/10. Can’t fault anything.
